Business Closed Policy
Our business will be closed under the following circumstances:
1. Major Holidays
We observe the following holidays and will be closed on these days:
• New Year’s Day
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
In addition, we may have modified hours on the day before or after these holidays. Notifications of any changes will be communicated in advance.
2. Inclement Weather Conditions
In the event of severe weather (e.g., hurricanes, snowstorms, floods), the safety of our employees and customers is our priority. We will:
• Monitor weather alerts and follow local government advisories.
• Notify employees and customers of closures via email, phone, or social media as early as possible.
• Reopen when it is safe to do so, with updates provided promptly.
3. Family Emergencies
In the case of a family emergency that affects management or key personnel, we may close the business temporarily. We will:
• Make every effort to notify employees and customers of any closures.
• Reopen as soon as possible, with updates communicated through the usual channels.
4. Summer Break
Our business will close for one week during the summer for a break. The specific dates will be announced well in advance, and we will:
• Notify employees and customers of the exact dates of closure.
• Reopen after the break with regular business hours.
Communication and Notifications
For all closures, we will notify employees and customers using the following methods:
• Email announcements
• Phone calls
• Social media updates (Facebook, Instagram)
• Website updates

School Hours
Students can attend classes Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Both part-time and full-time students are welcome during these hours. Enrollment is open year-round, so students can join at any time.”
Graduation Requirements
To be eligible for graduation, students must complete all hours required, all school tests must be completed with a 70% average, and students must fulfill all financial responsibilities to Sadie Cook Academy of Beauty & Business , or at least have a payment plan in place.
Sanitation and Personal Services
Students can receive beauty services on Tuesdays, pending instructor approval . Students are required to pay for the cost of services and mark appointment book the allotted time needed for service. Students must clean their station, including floor, after each service. Hair must be swept up immediately after a service is completed. Workstations must be cleaned at the end of the day prior to clocking out.

This led me to establish Sadie Cook Academy of Beauty & Business where our mission is to cultivate a new generation of hair artists who embody creativity, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the craft.
As an educator, I believe in providing a holistic learning experience that goes beyond the technical aspects of hairdressing. My approach is rooted in mentorship, nurturing the unique talents of each student and instilling a strong foundation in both technical skills and artistic expression.
